It's been a while !!!!

Sorry been out playing with the new toy and what a toy WOW
I traded in the old for a new 2010 Z1000.  I saw the beauties on the net
and loved the white and orange colour and called up my local Dealer
and said " I want one! call me when they arrive in the county"

I must admit the white and orange is stunning but on seeing the black and silver
it just looked more compact and neater to my eye.
She fits me like a glove and rides like a dream.  We are going to have many
wild and exciting hours getting to know each other.

So if you don't see me often!  Well you know why.

And Buell will be no more

Sad news reading the press release this morning by Eric Buell.  I have always loved the Buell motorcycle and ever since I fell in love with bikes I have always wanted a Buell.  Maybe now is the time to grab one while they still on the shop floors.

Now this just tickles my fancy...........

Unfortunatley when time are tough something has got to give, I hope someone works a miracle  and comes to the rescue.

Deneysville Motorcycle Museum

It's been a while since I've had a good run and decided to take a ride out to Lakeview Inn in Deneysville and visit the new Historic Motorcycle Museum they have started there.  Dust off the harley and met up with the HOG's in Sandton on Sunday morning.  Headed out towards the Vaal area, with heavy clouds threatening to open up and let the rain in.

A 130km ride through the country side is always beautiful and the senses pick up all the different smells in the open air that we miss in the big cities.  After a hearty breakfast we took a stroll through the Museum and headed for home

For a cloudy day it was a great 300km day out and will make sure we take a ride out again.

What A Beautiful Country

South Africa has diverse and beautiful scenery, fantastic weather conditions all year round.  I do a lot of motorcycling offroad and onroad and all my travels I shall share here.
